Ryan Moore’s Exciting Schedule at Royal Ascot 2024 Revealed

Ryan Moore Gears Up for Busy Tuesday at Royal Ascot 2024

Top jockey Ryan Moore is set for a packed schedule on Tuesday at the prestigious Royal Ascot race meeting, with six rides lined up across the day’s action.

Moore will kick off his busy afternoon aboard Hi Royal in the 2:30 pm race, followed by Camille Pissarro in the 3:05 pm, Twilight Calls in the 3:45 pm, Henry Longfellow in the 4:25 pm, My Lyka in the 5:05 pm, and concluding with Fox Journey in the 6:15 pm contest.

Discussing his mounts, the Betfair ambassador noted that Hi Royal “didn’t run his race in the Lockinge last time” but could be in the mix if he brings his “A-game” and the first-time blinkers help. Camille Pissarro, a winner on debut at Navan, is expected to have improved since his narrow defeat in the Marble Hill Stakes and has a “good chance” in a competitive renewal.

“Twilight Calls, who has finished second and fourth in the last two renewals of his race, could be a solid each-way proposition if he breaks on terms, having encountered issues on his return at Newmarket.”

The Group 1-laden 4:25 pm contest features three Guineas winners, and Moore acknowledges it will be a tough test for his pair of Henry Longfellow and Unquestionable.

In the 5:05 pm event, Moore is hopeful of extending his winning tally to four aboard Willie Mullins-trained stayer My Lyka, though he admits it’s a “hugely competitive handicap.” Lastly, the in-form Fox Journey, who bolted up at Newmarket, will face a sterner challenge in the 6:15 pm race but Moore is optimistic about his chances.

With a wealth of experience and a strong book of rides, Ryan Moore looks set to play a pivotal role on an action-packed Tuesday at the 2024 Royal Ascot festival.
