Royal Ascot’s Euros-Themed Hat: Lisa Snowdon’s Patriotic Fashion Statement

Unveiling Royal Ascot’s Patriotic Flair: Lisa Snowdon Dons Euros-Inspired Hat

As the second day of the prestigious Royal Ascot event unfolded, television presenter Lisa Snowdon, 52, made a striking appearance, showcasing her patriotic spirit with a custom-made Euros-themed hat. Commissioned by Ladbrokes, the extravagant headpiece featured England’s iconic red and white design, complete with the Euros trophy and a host of footballers, designed by milliner Ilda Di Vico.

Snowdon complemented the eccentric hat with a red midi-dress, accentuated by ruched detailing at the waist, and finished off the look with white heels and a red clutch bag. Eagerly posing for selfies, the presenter expressed her enthusiasm, saying, “I really want to show my support for the Three Lions, and by wearing this gorgeous Ladbrokes hat designed by Ilda Di Vico, I think I have done just that. Come on England!

“Our Euros-themed hat combines the best bits of a day out at Royal Ascot and the beautiful game. There’s always a lot of competition in the style stakes, but with Ilda’s unique creation, Lisa has scored a winner.”

The annual Royal Ascot event, a five-day flat horse racing affair held in Berkshire, is a significant social calendar event. However, Vicky Pattison, 36, had previously caused a stir on day one by flouting the strict dress code, adorning a wacky green headpiece featuring a giant Subway cookie.

As the event unfolded, the royal family’s presence was also felt, with King Charles and Queen Camilla arriving in a carriage, while Princess Anne, Zara Tindall, and her husband Mike Tindall were among the other notable attendees. Poignantly, Lady Gabriella Kingston, the daughter of Prince and Princess Michael of Kent, made her first official public appearance since the tragic passing of her husband in February.
